Goldilocks ran as fast as she could, her legs aching from bolting through the
forest. Once she reached a dark patch in the woods, she fell to the ground, unable to run any longer. Her chest heaved with panicked breaths, hearing heavy steps coming towards her. She squeezed her eyes shut, hoping everything was just a bad dream, that bears weren’t after her, and that she was safe.
When she finally dared to open her eyes, a wolf stood above her, ripped red
fabric stuck in his teeth.“Hello little one… seems like you stumbled into the wrong story.”
Goldilocks closed her eyes as the towering figure bared his teeth, adding a
new piece of fabric to his teeth.

The bears were right on Goldilocks’ heels, and it seemed like she was going to lose this race. She tripped over a tree root, and the bears smiled triumphantly. They were about to win. But they were unsettled when she let out a little chuckle, and began to rise off the ground. She shed her previous form and became a beautiful, glowing, goddess. “How dare you deny me sustenance after my journey to Earth?” She demanded. “You shall all perish!” Snakes crawled from underneath the trees and bit the bears’ heels, and they all died on the spot. Goldilocks left to finish the business she had come to Earth for.

I fled the little house in terror and ran all the way back to the forest path. Those bears were awful hosts! I come out to have a good time, eat some porridge, sit in some comfy chairs, and take a well deserved nap and I am honestly feeling so attacked right now. Why can’t a complete stranger just waltz into a house, eat some peoples’ food, sit on their furniture, and then borrow their beds!? Honestly, people are so sensitive about things nowadays. I tried to go into this house that belonged to 7 dwarves and do the same thing. It was an absolute mess inside but I still wanted to hang out but no! They kicked me out! A week later I came back around and there was this girl with white skin and black hair cleaning with some animals inside while singing. They let her stay but not me! Rude! Can’t a girl just peacefully break and enter into a house!

Goldilocks sprinted down the dusty path, her heart pounding a mile a minute. The image of the bears’ long glistening fangs imprinted in her mind. Goldilocks could hear Papa Bear’s outraged roar echoing through the dense forest. The ground shuddered as the enormous bear chased after her. Little did she know that fleeing from the Bears’ house triggered their predator instinct and caused Papa Bear to chase after her. Goldilocks could feel the bear’s hot breath on her heels as she struggled to run faster. Goldilocks suddenly tripped over her own feet and tumbled to the ground, a cloud of dust floating into her eyes and blocking her view. Once she got the dust out of her eyes, the last thing she saw was Papa Bear’s massive, gaping mouth.

After Goldilocks flees the bears’ house, she trips on a subsurface tree root. Soon after, a wolf appeared and said, “Have you seen a girl with a red hood? I am supposed to meet for, uh, lunch.” She responds, “Sorry Mr. Wolf, I have not.” The wolf starts to walk away but quickly turned around, because he had an idea. He says to Goldilocks, “Are you lost little girl?” Goldilocks responds, “Yes.” The wolf then invited the girl to lunch with the girl with the red hood.

I raced through the woods, hair streaming behind me. An unsuspecting branch reached out and wrapped the tendrils around my ankles. I hit the floor and began to cry. How come this always happens to me? First my grandma was eaten by a bear and a little girl with a red coat chased me away! And now the house I was using for refuge kicked me out! That Little Red Riding Hood! How dare you ruin my life!
